It takes too long to go around the world. We aren’t the magical Santa Clause. Please be patient, our travel agent will be back soon to give us a run down of their trip around the world.
Tickets are general admission and we seat people according to party size and space we have available. We make a seating plan prior to the event, so each party must sit in their assigned seats. It is extremely important that once your server takes your name at the begging of service that you DO NOT CHANGE SEATS FOR ANY REASON. All our dinner and drink orders depend on you staying in the same seat.
We get it, it’s hard to rush home from work, get ready, and get out the door. For this reason, we allow late arrivals and we will save your seats. You may miss your first and second course, but so long as you arrive within an hour from the time doors open, you’ll still be able to order dinner. Calls to say you’re running late are not necessary, just alert one of our Cast that you’ve arrived and we’ll show you to your table. Can’t find someone right away? Just check in with the bar and we’ll take it from there.
Group Reservations for Parties and Groups Are Required
If you’re joining a group reservation, please give the name of the reservation, like “_____’s Birthday Party.” If you haven’t let us know you’re having a party or need a group reservation, please email us right away at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can adjust your reservations. If we don’t know about your group in advance, you will not be seated together. Your ticket will display the group you’re sitting with. If you forgot to enter the group name, please email us immediately at email@example.com to ensure you are seated with your group.
Children and Minors
We are a full-service bar and dining room, but we’re not exactly family entertainment. While we welcome anyone over the age of 10 to our performances, our performances do contain adult-themed humor, sexual innuendo, the occasional cuss-word, and other material that may not be suitable for children (or your mother-in-law). Generally, we recommend that children be at least 15, but this isn’t a rule, just a suggestion. Use caution when bringing your children to a Giggle Dam performance.
Once you have been seated and the server takes your name, please don’t switch your seat — this one is important! If you switch your seat, you won’t get the drinks or meal you wanted and you could wind up with someone else’s bill. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to allow you to switch your seat. Ask your Server for details.
Food Included in Giggle Dam Performances, Drink and Bar Service Extra
Your ticket to Giggle Dam Performances includes a set selection of appetizers, an entrée of your choice, and a set dessert (yay). You will normally have 5 dinner selections to choose from. See our amazing show menu to learn more about what’s for dinner during the performance — we change our menu with every show! We have a full-service bar and a large alcohol selection. Don’t see what you’re looking for on our drink menu? Just ask! We love custom requests.
Events such as Karaoke, Open Mic Nights, Game Nights, and any Ticket Labeled “Special Event” does not include food with your Ticket. However, we always have a menu of made-to-order food at every Special Event.
We have menu options for vegans and vegetarians on every menu, as well as custom meals within reason to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you didn’t alert us to your special dietary needs when you reserved your tickets, please email the Box Office at firstname.lastname@example.org right away so we can gather the details and inform our Chef. We are especially interested to know if you have an intolerance, allergy or are Vegetarian, Vegan, Pescatarian, Gluten Free, or Celiac.
Unlike a traditional restaurant, in general, we serve you for 4 straight hours. There is a huge cast of actors, singers, servers, chefs, bussers and bartenders that come together to deliver your Show or Event experience. An 18% gratuity will be added to your ticket online, as well as your in-theatre service bill. We sincerely thank you in advance for appreciating us!
On Stage and Backstage
Our on-stage appearances are paid for by parties celebrating special events or selected by our cast specifically. We ask that you do not approach the stage, unless you’re dancing on the dance floor, and never go up on stage unless escorted there by a cast member. All of our backstage areas are employees only. We wouldn’t want you to walk in on someone during a costume change — awkward!
There is plenty of parking in Downtown Poco. Here are some convenient places to park:
- Out Front: There is street level parking in front of the Giggle Dam and throughout Downtown Port Coquitlam
- Behind the Giggle Dam next to the bowling alley: 2251 McAllister Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2A9NOTE: Do not park in the bowling alley’s parking lot. They can and will tow your car. Instead, park in front of City Hall at the City’s parking and walk the half-block over to avoid disappointment.

Getting Home Safe
Remember, we have Uber in Port Coquitlam now – PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE OR DRIVE HIGH. The best way to find parking is to leave your car at home and take a taxi or Uber to the Giggle Dam. We care about you and want to make sure you make it home safe. If you require assistance calling a taxi, please see the Box Office at the conclusion of our performance or event and we’ll be glad to assist you.
Giggle Dam Standard Ticket
Terms and Conditions
In these Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions the following terms with initial capital letters have the meanings given:
- Giggle Dam: Means The Giggle Dam Dinner Theatre Ltd., a body corporate, incorporated pursuant to the laws of the Province of British Columbia.
- Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions: these general terms and conditions of the Giggle Dam;
- Event, Show, or Performance: the organized event, such as an event of a musical, cultural, special and/or recreational nature for which the Giggle Dam sells Tickets;
- Event Holder: the natural person who or legal entity that produces or organizes an
Event and is responsible for it;
- Ticket Holder: the natural person with whom or legal entity with which the Giggle Dam enters into a contract concerning an Event or to whom or which Giggle Dam makes an offer
for the purpose of doing so;
- Contract: the contract between the Giggle Dam and the Ticket Holder for the acquisition of
Tickets for Events;
- Ticket: the document that serves as an admission ticket for an Event, including an
- Parties: The Ticket Holder and the Giggle Dam together.
Applicably of the Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions
These Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, legal relationships and contracts pursuant to which Ticketmaster provides products or services of any nature whatsoever to the Customer, also if these products or services are not described or not further described in these General Terms and Conditions.
Where the Giggle Dam has entered into a booking or other agreement with any entity, person, or Ticket Holder, these Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions shall be incorporated by reference and apply to all purchases.
The Giggle Dam expressly rejects other conditions of the Customer.
The parties may only agree changes in relation to the Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions in writing. The Giggle Dam is entitled to change the General Terms and Conditions and declare changed Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions applicable to Contracts. Changed Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions shall be published on Giggle Dam’s website for consultation.
The Giggle Dam Standard Ticket Terms and Conditions of the Event Holder of the Event shall likewise apply to the Contract. If the Customer does not yet have a copy of the Event Holder’s general terms and conditions, the Event holder shall send on request the Event Holder’s general terms and conditions.
The Ticket Holder of a valid ticket is admitted to the Giggle Dam on the condition that the Ticket Holder agrees, and by use of the ticket does so agree in favour of the producer and the theatre owner (Giggle Dam Dinner Theatre), to the following terms and conditions. Any violation of these terms will entitle Giggle Dam to, as applicable, seize or cancel the ticket, withdraw the license granted below, refuse admission and/or expel a Ticket Holder, in each case without payment of any refund or other compensation.
The ticket is a personal, revocable license. Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets will not be honoured. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale by anyone without the permission of Giggle Dam and may not be resold at a price exceeding their face value at any time, unless the tickets are being used for a charity auction or other approved use, specifically approved by the Giggle Dam in writing.
The ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion or for any other trade purposes without our express written permission.
Tickets obtained from any source other than Giggle Dam, Eventbrite or their authorized agents may be lost, stolen or counterfeit tickets and may not be honoured.
The license may be withdrawn and admission refused at any time upon refunding the printed purchase price, including in the event of cancellation of the Performance. Performances may be cancelled or reschedule at any time, with or without notice, at the sole discretion of the Giggle Dam.
Any person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket and have an assigned seat. Ticket Holders must occupy their assigned seats and may not move to other locations in the theatre without permission. All children must be at least 10 years-old and have their own ticket.
Outside food and drinks are not permitted in the theatre.
Dinner service is provided at every Giggle Dam Performance. For other Event(s) held at the Giggle Dam, a variety of snacks and drinks are available for purchase on-site. If there is a special Event where food is prohibited, there will be signage indicating this at the theatre. We are committed to ensuring the enjoyment of all guests.
We make an exception to this rule if you’re celebrating a birthday or special event, in which case you may bring your own cake, which will be served by your server to your party. Just let us know in advance so we can place your cake in our cooler for your convenience.
The Giggle Dam welcomes all registered and identifiable Service Animals. Due to the nature of our food and beverage services provided and for the safety of everyone, all pets are prohibited from entering the theatre at any time.
A Ticket Holder must ensure that the Ticket Holder and any minors or others for whom the Ticket Holder is responsible conduct themselves appropriately and in a manner which is not determined by Giggle Dam or its representatives to be objectionable or disturbing to other patrons.
All Performance(s) begin promptly as scheduled, and there are no refunds for latecomers. Latecomers will be admitted, but services may be limited.
Restricted and Prohibited Items
The following items are restricted, may not be brought into the theatre and may be confiscated by theatre staff: outside beverages of any kind, illegal drugs, weapons of any kind, bottles, cans, food products purchased outside the theatre (except for a celebratory cake as mentioned above). We also restrict your ability to bring in commercial audio/video/image recording or transmitting devices without our consent. We want to make sure you get our good side, so if you want to transmit a Giggle Dam Performance, just let us know in advance. We reserve the right at any time to limit or ask you to stop recording, especially on nights like Karaoke nights where the person singing may not wish to be recorded. We respect everyone and want everyone to have a good time, please keep that in mind when recording others who are not part of our produced shows. The Ticket Holder consents to a reasonable examination of the Ticket Holder’s person and belongings to ensure compliance with these terms.
Audio / Video / Image Recording Allowed During Performance(s)
In general, we allow (and encourage) audio/video recording in the theatre. Unless there is an agreement to the contrary, in writing, the Giggle Dam shall maintain the copyright to all content produced or captured in any form during a Giggle Dam Performance. The Ticket Holder expressly agrees that the Giggle Dam shall be deemed the owner of all recorded media in any form captured at a Giggle Dam Performance. If a particular Event or Performance is recording restricted, signs will be posted on the front doors of the theatre. In this case, the Ticket Holder is prohibited from transmitting or aiding in transmitting any picture, video, audio or reproduction of the Performance.
Grant of License to Record
The Ticket Holder grants to the Giggle Dam a fully-paid, perpetual right to all photographs, video or audio recordings of the Ticket Holder taken or made at the Performance and the right to record, use, reproduce, broadcast, sell and distribute any photographs, video or audio recordings for any purpose.
All Programs Subject to Change & Offensive Content Warning
All artists, shows, events, and programs or program portions are subject to change. Due to the nature of live Performance, Giggle Dam does not warrant that the Ticket Holder will be satisfied with the Performance or that it will be free of technical difficulties. The Giggle Dam also uses humor which is offensive to some, use caution when attending our Performance.
You Assume All Risks
The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger of personal injury and hazards arising from or related in any way to the Performance, whether occurring prior to, during or after the Event and releases Giggle Dam from all liability. NOTE: The Giggle Dam employs the use of strobe-type lights, a fog machine, a very loud sound system, and operates in low-light conditions. If you have any conditions that could be affected by these elements of our show, you should not attend the Performance or Event.
Our Liability to You is Extremely Limited
In the event the Giggle Dam is found liable for damages of any kind, the Ticket Holder and the Giggle Dam expressly agree that damages shall be limited to the individual ticket price of the Ticket Holder or $500, whichever is less.
The Parties agree that, both during and after the Performance of their responsibilities under this Agreement, each of them shall make bona fide efforts to resolve any disputes arising between them by amicable negotiations and provide frank, candid and timely disclosure of all relevant facts, information and documents to facilitate those negotiations.
The Parties further agree to use their best efforts to conduct any dispute resolution procedures herein as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
The Parties agree to attempt to resolve all disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract, or in respect of any legal relationship associated with it or from it, by mediated negotiation with the assistance of a neutral person appointed by the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre administered under its Commercial Mediation Rules.
If the dispute cannot be settled within 30 days after the mediator has been appointed, or such other period agreed to in writing by the Parties, the dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre, pursuant to its Rules.
In the absence of any written agreement otherwise, the place of arbitration shall be Vancouver, British Columbia.
This agreement has be interrupted and applied in accordance with the Laws of the Province of British Columbia.
You Accept These Terms by Purchasing, Holding, or Using a Ticket
By purchasing, using, or holding a ticket, you and all your guests agree to these Terms and Conditions. You agree that you will notify each person in your group of these Terms and Conditions prior to entering the theatre.
