We’re so excited to be returning to the stage on November 15, 2021, for Christmas Around the World!
The Provincial Health Officer has issued an Order that the Giggle Dam Theatre must comply with. Just like every other event or in-person dining experience, you must be able to show us proof that you have received 2 doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. This is a mandatory order by the Provincial Health Officer and we have to comply. For this reason, we don’t have any flexibility in granting entry.
Please make sure before you book your tickets that you are aware (and make your friends or co-workers aware) of this policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
I already purchased tickets and am not planning on getting the vaccine, what can I do?
Thank you very much for booking to attend our performance. If you cannot comply with the Provincial Health Officer’s order, you can request a refund in the form of a Giggle Dam gift card for use on a future date after the Order has been lifted. You may also transfer your tickets to someone else who can use them.
I will only have one dose of the vaccine when I attend, am I still allowed entry?
Unfortunately, the PHO Order says that all persons much have both doses of the vaccine to attend any event or be in a public dining room. You must have also received your second dose at least 7 days prior to the performance. If you do not have proof of both doses, we have no choice but to refuse you entry. We will rebook anyone in this situation for free to another performance.
I am unable to receive the vaccine due to a medical condition that prevents me from getting the vaccine, am I exempt from this policy?
The PHO has advised that there are very few conditions that would cause this. In the unfortunate event that you cannot get the vaccine due to advice from your doctor or a pre-existing medical condition, you should call us right away to arrange to have your booking canceled and a gift card issued so you can attend another performance in the future. At this time, there are no exceptions to this rule. We are monitoring the orders and if this changes, we’ll evaluate things on a case-by-case basis.
