Georgia Swinton

Georgeous” moved from cold and frosty Winnipeg to the wet coast of Vancouver at the age of 5. At age 8 she secured her first musical theatre role playing Danny Zuko opposite her sister’s Sandy Olsson for the neighbours in their Co-Op. As things “developed” it became obvious there wouldn’t be any more male roles for Georgia and it was off to Capilano University. After graduating from their Musical Theatre program, she used her training to win roles in Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Three Penny Opera, Big and an actual female part in Grease to name a few. She was also the proud recipient of the prestigious EV Young Award as Most Outstanding Performer for her role as Rosemary in Theatre Under The Stars production of How To Succeed In Business (Without Even Trying). She stole audiences hearts as Sally Brown in Regina’s Globe Theatre production of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. A consummate professional, Georgia will often forget everything she learned in theatre school and will instead throw herself on the stage here at The Giggle Dam where she shows her multi-faceted abilities not only as an actress but as a vamp, a dancer and a kick ass vocalist, much to the delight of our cast, crew and audiences alike! She is a huge part of our Dam Family and will always and forever be 3 of Mark’s favourite things.
